Quality Control / Research & Development

QUALITY CONTROL:

Quality Control, or Q.C for short, is a process by which entities review the quality of all factors involved in production. This approach further places an emphasis on three aspects which are as below please:

1.Elements such as controls, management, defined and well managed processes, performance and integrity criteria, and identification of records and trace system.
2.Competence such as knowledge, skills, experience and qualifications.
3.Soft elements, such as organizational culture, motivation, team spirit and quality relationships.

Controls include product inspection, where ever product is examined visually, and often using a special skill to evaluate if the product is up to the mark and standard approved prior to dispatch to the client. Inspectors will be provided with lists and description of product, its specifications, size, minute details and and they must be well-equipped with technical details of manufacturing process to be capable to find out flaws and defects in a particular product. The quality of the output is at risk if any of these above aspects are deficient in any way.

QUALITY CONTROL emphasis testing of products to uncover defects and further reporting to the management as well as the production line and aim only to send quality approved products to the client. Also Q.C aim quality assurance attempts to improve a sustained production.

RESEARCH & DEVELOPMENT:

Most people associate Research & Development (R & D) function of a company with the invention of new products. Whilst this is very important , the development of existing products is of equal significance because clients requirements and preferences are continually changing. For instance bullion embroidery badges are being demanded now in 3D look for more details and for a more elegance look. The task of product research and development is to come up with the goods and services that meet the needs of tomorrow’s customers.

In any well run company, research and development have strictly commercial functions; to further the company’s business objectives by developing and creating better products, to improve operational processes and to provide expert advice to the rest of the company and to customers. Some research is not expected to pay for itself within a foreseeable time span, as a matter of fact, Orison Scottish completely understands this fact we have a separate team of employees that work continuously on the new products hence our range of products and services have gone more than 5000 products in our line of business in 2014. Almost double range than 2011-12. Each new product added to our business line have its own identity and knowledge in the form of “Research & Development”.

NOTE: We deliberately won’t upload important information on our website as there is a trend among some competitors to copy our written material from our website and paste the same information on their websites claiming as their written material hence to discourage this trend we keep important information offline and send to client’s on their request. Please send your company name, telephone, and person name when you require this information so that we may confirm by calling you that our information is going to the right person/company.

Thanks and regards to all valued clients.
